YOUR DONATIONS ARE NEEDED!
USNSCC – Palm Beach Division is a non-profit, drug-free , alcohol-free and gang-free lifestyle youth group dedicated to teaching and promoting an interest in the armed forces through self-discipline and hands-on training as well as individual responsibilities. While federally chartered by Congress and sponsored by the Palm Beach Council of the U.S. Navy League, our local operations are supported solely by donations from parents, friends, family members and community members like you.
Palm Beach Division welcomes donations, large or small, which can help provide opportunities for our cadets. Your donation will go straight to our Unit to benefit the cadets. The U.S. Naval Sea Cadets of Palm Beach Division is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt youth services organization. Donations to our unit are deductible on your federal tax return to the extent allowable by law under the Internal Revenue Service Code.
All donations go 100% directly to benefit the cadets in our program. Palm Beach Division adult staff are all volunteers, and no donation funds are used for administrative or operational expenses to run our unit.
Very little of our costs are covered by the US Navy through donations of uniforms and facilities. Your donation(s) will go toward things like…
- Helping one (or more) of our cadets attending a training they may otherwise not be able to afford
- Purchasing meals, snacks and supplies for our monthly drills. (We are feeding a small army)
- Facilities fees and equipment for off site drills. (Transportation, equipment rental, tools, etc.)
- Long term supplies for overnight drills and trainings. Things like, Camping Tents, Shade Canopies, Camp Stoves, Cooking Utensils.
- Uniforms for our cadets. Each active cadet wears no less than 3 complete US Navy uniforms
(complete with ribbons & appurtenances) through out the year. They grow out of them constantly, and we do our best as a unit to help with this cost to our cadets and their families.

Our ultimate goal is to offset the cost for Advanced Training during the summer months for cadets such as Recruit Training in Great Lakes, IL. Other trainings include Petty Officer Leadership School, Medical, Homeland Security, Aviation, Culinary Arts, JAG, JSOC, SEAL, Musician, Mine Warfare, and Submarine seminars across the United States.
Donations will also go towards:
A. Transportation for 60+ cadets to and from training sites around Florida – We currently have a 1995 15 passenger Ford van with over 500,000 miles on it. It’s on it’s last legs and we are trying to obtain a newer van. In addition, it’s too small to accommodate our growing unit size!
B. Four complete meals on drill weekends
C. Maintenance and expenses to run our boats for trainings
What do you get in return? In recognition, Donors will receive a flag and a signed thank you letter from the
cadets of the Palm Beach Division. Your name and or company logo will also be posted on the Palm Beach Division website to thank you for your support!
We also provide military services for donations. Please visit our Military Honors Request page for details.
It should be stated again that 100% of your contribution goes to support the activities of the Palm Beach Division Sea Cadets! We have no paid staff – all those who work with the U.S. Naval Sea Cadets Palm Beach Division are volunteers. Your donation will help us pay for uniforms, supplies, and operating expenses that go with operating the Palm Beach Division – all of it goes to support the Cadets.
Please ask for our tax number when you make your donation!
Thank you for your support!
